Download Email Sprucer

For classic desktop Outlook on Windows 10 and 11.

Installing

  1. Download the file above, then open it. Windows App Installer takes over from there.
  2. Choose Install. Email Sprucer installs for your Windows user only — it needs no administrator rights and changes nothing for anyone else on the machine.
  3. Restart Outlook. The Email Sprucer tab appears on the ribbon.

If Windows shows a warning. On a brand-new release Windows SmartScreen may say it does not recognise the app. That is a comment on how many people have downloaded this exact file so far, not on whether it is genuine — Windows builds that recognition up over the first weeks of a release. Choose More info and check the publisher says Datgel; if it does, Run anyway is safe. Every release is code-signed with the same certificate, so the warning fades as a release gets older. If the publisher says anything else, do not install it — email us instead.

Outlook must be the classic desktop app on Windows. Email Sprucer does not run in Outlook on the web, in the new Outlook for Windows, or on macOS.

Updates

Email Sprucer keeps itself up to date — Windows checks for a new version in the background and installs it the next time you restart Outlook. There is nothing to click, and you will never be interrupted mid-session.

This only works for copies installed from the link above. See the changelog for what is in each release.
